Tori Knight is a white, fat, queer, disabled PhD candidate and casual tutor researching on Kaurna Land at Adelaide University. Their PhD thesis focuses on fat queer lived experience, particularly through phenomenological and affective lenses. Their research interests span fat studies and queer theory broadly, with a particular interest in fat subjectivity, fat representation and queering fat. They have a commitment to fat and queer liberation, and seek to continually bridge the gaps between fat queer lived experience, academia and activism.
