Tom has over 30 years of experience combining leadership, music and media, creativity, innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. Tom received PhD and MFA from Princeton University, the Presidential MBA in Leadership from Pepperdine University and BMus from the University of British Columbia.
In 1990, he co-founded tomandandy, which he built into one of the largest music production companies in the world. As CEO, he helped reshape the role of music and media worldwide by introducing a new process that lowered music production costs to a fraction of previous levels while improving creative quality. By appropriating the aesthetics of the avant garde and melding together music and sound design, tomandandy blurred the line between music and sound. Coupling this with new ways of using music software redefined the way in which music and media work together, initially through MTV, which then influenced most contexts where music and media are found today. tomandandy has collaborated on creative industries projects generating over $1B US to economies around the world.

He has worked with some of the most influential creatives in the world (Oliver Stone, U2, Laurie Anderson, William Burroughs, David Byrne, Lou Reed, Alan Ginsberg, Jenny Holzer, Tom Sachs etc.). He has worked with the top TV studios (NBC, CBS, PBS, American Broadcasting Corporation, Canal Plus, VIACOM etc) worldwide. He has worked with best of breed advertising agencies (Saatchi, WPP, Weiden&Kennedy, Grey, Dentsu etc) around the world to help shape the identities of many of the top global companies in most categories, from cars (Mercedes, Ford, Toyota etc) to beverages (Coke, Pepsi etc), computer and technology (Apple, Microsoft, Intel etc) to running shoes (Nike, Adidas, Reebok etc). He has worked with the best of breed film studios in the world (Sony, Universal etc) and his music has helped build Hollywood franchises (Resident Evil, The Hills Have Eyes, 47 Meters Down etc). His work has been reviewed in publications throughout the world (NY Times, Interview Magazine, Details, Hollywood Reporter, LA Times etc). Recently he was featured in: Scored to Death: Conversations with Some of Horror's Greatest Composers, authored by Blake Fichera.

Tom is also CEO of Disrupter, a strategic innovation company. The company has an IP portfolio in deep creative technologies, from digital way finding to machine learning and music creation and network protocols.

Type of work: Feature Film Score
ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Research Background: The original score for this film was designed to bridge two very different aesthetics. The film itself is uniquely segregated into documentary material and theatrical material. Actual documentary footage is married to footage featuring a cast of actors playing the real people featured in the documentary footage. This creates a challenge in helping the audience move between the “real” and the “re-enacted”.
Research Contribution: The goal, after studying the problem with the director for several weeks, became the creation of a “dream-like” space in which to contain the documentary footage, and a separate, more conventional cinematic space for the re-enacted scenes. Since the re-enactments carried most of the action and drama of the piece (with the documentary sections serving more as reflections) this allowed the scoring for the re-enactments to use the full range of traditional modern scoring techniques -- an approach which is generally avoided in the documentary form.
Research Significance: The Infiltrators was critically acclaimed. The Hollywood Reporter said “ This is a necessary film; but rather than feeling like homework, watching it is a thrill.”. It won both the Innovation Award and Audience Award at Sundance in 2019. In addition to being released theatrically and on Netflix, The Infiltrators will be produced as a series on Netflix in 2020.

Type of work: Feature Film Score
ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Research Background: A 2019 sequel to 1990’s Killing Zoe, Lucky Day represents a hybrid homage to the work of Carl Stalling featuring a traditional approach to orchestration that morphs over time into a dark, modern industrial nightmare. In addition to referencing material from the first file, it also features an evolving citation of the score from Terrence Malick’s Badlands. Lucky Day is Tom Hajdu’s sixth major work this year.
Research Contribution: Tom’s initial studies for the score were focused on an extension of his own original 1990’s score -- this was in fact the original goal of the director but as work continued against the fine cut of the movie, it became clear that an entirely different tone was required. The final score interweaves music motives tied very literally to the appearance and onscreen movement of the film’s three principal characters.
Research Significance: Lucky Day marks the return of Academy Award Winning Writer/Director Roger Avary after several years. Lucky Day harkens back to his Academy Award winning film, Pulp Fiction, while also referencing Killing Zoe, creating a post modern interpretation in the melding of the two projects. It closes a chapter on Roger Avary’s work in Hollywood, as he begins his foray into large scale projects in Asia with Tom Hajdu and Andy Milburn. The film had limited theatrical release and Lionsgate released the film on Blu-Ray. The National Film Academy nominated Lucky Day  for Best Independent Film 2019. The National Film Academy produces the annual National Film Awards UK in London which is one of the biggest award shows for motion picture in Europe. Last year, National Film Academy launched the US version of the awards in Los Angeles to cater for the North American audience of film and tv fans.

    Place of publication: USA
    Publication date: 2019
    Extent: 92 minutes
Type of work: Feature Film Score
ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Research Background: The 4th major film score of 2019 by Tom Hajdu is intended as an homage to “slasher films” from the 70’s and 80’s, the directors of Haunt commissioned an exploration of compositional techniques and textures from scores including Suspiria (1977), Contamination (1980), Halloween (1978) and They Live (1988).
Research Contribution: This project features a strong structural segmentation, with the first half of the film maintaining this older tone, which then pivots violently to a brutalist and thoroughly modern violent score for the second half. Whereas the first half features traditional neo-romantic orchestration, the second half consists almost entirely of atonal, polyrhythmic layers of synthesizers and distorted found sound recordings (musique concrete).

Research Significance: Haunt was written and directed by Scott Beck, Bryan Woods, the team who wrote “A Quiet Place” arguably one of the most successful feature films in 2018. The film had its world premiere at Popcorn Frights Film Festival on August 8, 2019 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and its international premiere at FrightFest in London, England, on August 23, 2019. The Los Angeles premiere for Haunt took place at the Grauman's Egyptian Theatre on September 7, 2019. The film received a limited release on September 13, 2019, by Momentum Pictures.

Type of work: Feature Film Score
ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Research Background: A sequel project to Tom Hajdu’s successful ($62.6MM USD) 47 Meters Down (2017) the original score was commissioned at first to itself be a sequel thematically. After evaluating the narrative requirements of the film, a decision was made to develop a whole new scoring vocabulary.
Research Contribution: Where the original score was small in scale, filled with brutal and raw synthesizer dissonance and emphasizing the claustrophobic nature of much of the film’s setting, the sequel required a more traditional symphonic scale for the establishment of the grand setting and environs. It was also necessary to develop a singular musical color for the second act of the film, for which Tom developed an unusual series of orchestrations involving church organ and distorted recordings of chamber choir.
Research Significance: Screenings of the sequel generated approximately $38.3 MM USD worldwide. Additional income can be expected from online releases etc in 2020. Director Johannes Roberts has been tapped to write and direct the Resident Evil Reboot in 2020 and Tom Hajdu will continue his collaboration as a result.

    Extent: 1 hr 56 min
Type of work: feature film score
ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Research Background: The composition, production and recording of this feature length film score presented an opportunity to examine traditional “Hollywood” approaches to film scoring in the context of an international film production. The French producers and director of this project were very much interested in alluding to the grand Hollywood tradition of “military action” movies, but wanted to avoid mimicry and stereotype.
Research Contribution: After several weeks of research and experimentation resulting in the production of several dozen prototype score cues, the team settled on the foundation of a very conventional large orchestral ensemble.. Alongside this ensemble was developed a selection of heavily processed synthesizers -- while not strictly mapped to the orchestra, these were grouped functionally into “sections” which correspond to the traditional orchestral sections. Critically, these synthesizer sections were designed not to imitate their orchestral counterparts, but rather to contrast with them. The synthesizer section bonded with the strings, for example, included raw sinusoidal sounds recorded with a minimum of reverb and a slow, sporadic detuning designed to pull against the stable tonality of the traditional strings.
Research Significance: Antonin Baudry is considered one of France’s most influential young artists. The film received critical acclaim. Anthony Kao from Cinema Escapist stated that the film contrasts from the typical French art film that North American audiences associate with that country, which is usually “esoteric and inaccessible.” The film was released by Pathé generating $12.5MM USD worldwide and was acquired by Netflix.

Type of work: feature film score
ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Research Background: Tom revisited work from two earlier compositions (Resident Evil: Afterlife and Resident Evil: Retribution) and developed a driving, industrial palette which became the underbelly for this score. One additional compositional innovation was needed to support transitions between the “interior” world of the deaf hero her surroundings as perceived by her family (and the audience). To this end, Tom researched historical compositional approaches from the history of cinema (Dead Silence (1997), Dummy (1979), The Good Shepherd (2006), Hear No Evil (1993), Koshish (1972), Orphan (2009), and Wonderstruck (2017).
Research Contribution: Studies for this film score began 18 months before production began. It was clear from the outset that this project would require a non-conventional approach to its primary score as well as its sound design. The hero of the film is a deaf teenage girl, and the film explores the role of sound and communication in a series of challenges which the girl and her family must overcome. Early research produced austere, minimal textures exploring the boundary between ambience and music. In particular it was determined that the score would need a battery or propulsive rhythmic material, to drive the pace during a series of tentpole action sequences. Seeking to avoid cliche, this resulted in the development of a thematic, melodic palette which became the signature of the “interior” world, as opposed to the more conventional approach of using filtered or muffled sounds.
Research Significance: The music is a post-modern re-interpretation of a style created by Tom Hajdu in the Resident Evil series which generated over $500MM USD. Applying these aesthetics to this project helped to elevate the production. The project was acquired and distributed by Netflix.

Title: La voix humaine (Feature Film Score)
    Authors: Hajdu T, Milburn A
    Author affiliation: A1221395
    Place of publication: France
    Publication date: 2018
    Extent: 30 minutes
Type of work: Feature Film Score
ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Research Background: The 84th major work of Tom Hajdu’s music and media collaborations is an adaption of Jean Cocteau’s seminal play. Roger Avary’s 2018 postmodern interpretation of this play features the solo performance of the French actress Elsa Zylberstein. Since nearly all of the film’s dialogue and action centers around a series of telephone calls, Tom initially researched various approaches to pushing the musical score into the same or a complementary acoustic space as the muffled and intimate human voice. Ultimately, however, as the work continued, it became clear that a better approach was the musical creation of a rich and disorienting internal mental world, surrounding the viewer with the stifling and increasingly hysterical madness of the decaying main character.
Research Contribution: Broken into three sections, the score to La voix humaine follows the structural decline of the main character as delineated by three traumatic episodes. The work examines the extended use of stretto couched in cloying, almost parodically romantic writing for a very large string section. The gradual dissolution of tonality along with the gradual slowing down of harmonic motion drives the viewer deep into the ultimate dissolution of the main character’s ego.
Research Significance: The music is an acknowledgement of Cocteau’s and the French influence on art and music in the early 1900’s. Borrowing principals from the Dadaists and Futurists, the music reworks earlier techniques in this more contemporary context.

ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Research Background: The soundtrack to Wish Upon was created and produced by tomandandy, a music production company of whom Tom Hajdu is one of two founders. While the company is best known for their work scoring films, their portfolio includes most contexts where music coalesces with media including records, art installations, television , fashion, live events etc.
Research Contribution: The central plot device in this film is a music box and so the development of this film score required an exploration and extension of the limitations in tempo, timbre and register presented by classic music box technology from the 19th century. Ultimately this led to exhaustive recordings of bespoke music boxes, pushed to their limits from which a battery of sampled instruments was created. Even though some of these instruments are subjected to extreme post-processing and so are no longer recognizable, their common ancestry with the other instrumentation is intended to produce a subtle coherence and familiarity.
Research Significance: This is the first of two collaboration between filmmaker John Leonetti and Tom Hajdu. The film grossed 23.5MM USD worldwide.

    Extent: 1 hour 31 minutes
Type of work: feature film score
ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Research Background: Tom Hajdu’s Princeton University PhD dissertation examines the aesthetic, cultural and economic impact of tomandandy via music and media and context. Cage’s chance operations were further explored and exploited using both live instruments and computer outputs in these music and media contexts. In part this may be why Brian Eno refers to tomandandy in his diaries called “A Year With Swollen Appendices: Brian Eno's Diary”, Faber & Faber; 1996.
Research Contribution: This score explores a minimalist approach to the accompaniment of a film which uses horror tropes as metaphors for the exploration of a broken mother-daughter relationship. This required the development of an austere language, defined by piano and solo cello each in extremely limited range.
Research Significance: This is the second collaboration between writer/director Bryan Bertino and Tom Hajdu. During the first collaboration in “The Strangers”, Tom established a new aesthetic in film scoring, incorporating silence and innovative microphone techniques and audio engineering. This approach was discussed at length in the book “Scored to Death” (J. Blake Fichera, 2016, Silman-James Press). The Monster received positive reviews from film critics with an 80% approval rating on review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. Manohla Dargis, in her review for The New York Times, compared the film to other horror stories about "monstrous motherhood" released for art house and multiplex crowds, saying The Monster was "cleverly pitched somewhere in between." The Hollywood Reporter's Justin Lowe wrote that the film "reduces primal fear to its fundamental elements".

ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Research Background: This full-length feature film score was the result of a 4 week research effort exploring the application of modular analog synthesis techniques to traditional film scoring. The original scope of the project (as presented by the director and producers) was meant to incorporate a traditional orchestral score but after a period of research and experimentation, Tom Hajdu presented a series of compositional sketches which outlined an alternative approach.
Research Contribution: Ultimately these early sketches become the thematic kernels for the entirety of the final score. The goal in developing a multi-themed, modular palette in the beginning was to ultimately deliver a score whose internal relationships and consistencies could mirror those found in the narrative of the film itself. In the final compositional phase, this process consisted primarily of identifying the narrative strands in the film and consistently assigning the modular material to those strands as they presented themselves in the linear unfolding of the film.
Research Significance: This score represents an evolution of approaches the Tom first developed in his score to The Mothman Prophecies and later in The Strangers -- an approach discussed at length in the book “Scored to Death” (J. Blake Fichera, 2016, Silman-James Press).

ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Research Background: The Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo is a region where life is challenging in the wake of a 20 year long war driven by colonialism. In the film, women band together at the leadership center to find a way to handle the horrible experiences they've had to live through and come out on the other side to be leaders and inspirations for other women in the region. The opportunity was to create a score that organically references the region without being cliche.
Research Contribution: Tom Hajdu enlisted Lokua Kanza, a highly acclaimed singer/songwriter from the Democratic Republic of Congo. By working with Kanza’s split tracks, Tom was able to remix and rework Kanza’s elements to create new music and score elements that thread together the narrative in a novel way which was both organic and fresh sounding. By using Kanza’s work as a continuous through line, the style of the score could change complexion while maintaining continuity.
Research Significance: The film was critically acclaimed worldwide and won several awards including: Arizona International Film Festival, Special Jury Award; Ashland Independent Film Festival, Rogue Creamery Audience Award; Cleveland International Film Festival, Greg Gund Memorial Standing Up Award; Dallas International Film Festival nominated for Grand Jury Prize; Golden Trailer Awards nominated for Best Motion/Title Graphics; Impact Docs Awards, Award of Excellence; Mill Valley Film Festival, Audience Award; Newport Beach Film Festival, Best Documentary; Roxbury International Film Festival, Best Documentary Feature; Woods Hole Film Festival, Best Documentary Feature. The film was acquired by Netflix.
Description: Music written and recorded for this film which which follows the first class of students at a remarkable leadership center in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a region often referred to as "the worst place in the world to be a woman." These women have been through unspeakable violence spurred on by a 20 year war driven by colonialism and greed. In the film, they band together with the three founders of this center: Dr. Denis Mukwege (2016 Nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize), radical playwright and activist Eve Ensler ("The Vagina Monolgoues") and human rights activist, Christine Schuler-Deschryver, to find a way to create meaning in their lives even when all that was meaningful to them has long been stripped away. In this ultimately uplifting film, we witness the tremendous resilience as these women transform their devastation into powerful forms of leadership for their beloved country.

ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Research Background: The original score for Havenhurst is the 81st major work by Tom Hajdu who received this commission for a full feature score on the strength of his work on The Mothman Prophecies, which was used extensively during the original production and editing of the project.
Research Contribution: This score represents a further exploration of a blurring of the lines between musical score and sound design. Abstract, non-tonal noises and textures become a central part of the score, making this score a good example of his groundbreaking approach to combining sound design and music into a single palette. This reshaped the way in which composers make music today. By introducing William Burroughs’ ‘cut-up’ approach in music, Tom Hajdu approach to music software and output has impacted a generation of composers in music and media.
Research Significance: The film was screened at the Cannes Film Festival and the Berlin Fantasy Film Festival. Dread Central awarded the film a score of 7 out of 10, saying "the location, complemented by spooky cinematography and a score (Tom Hajdu) that sizzles with suspense, is what really sells it.” Frank Scheck in The Hollywood Reporter, said "The film’s technical elements are first-rate, including the production design and cinematography that evocatively convey the creepiness of the setting, and the tense musical score by the veteran film-scoring duo known as tomandandy.”

ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Research Background: The 84th major work of his career represents an evolution of the interruptive, non-linear compositional style that first began at Princeton University, where Tom Hajdu and Andy Milburn generated very short compositions called “Blasts” which were not appropriate for the concert hall but played very well between music videos on MTV. These “Blasts” coincidentally were not dissimilar to “Blast” literary magazine from the vorticist movement in Britain in 1914.
The combination of technology with organic instruments is foundational to the transformation and impact of Tom Hajdu’s work in music and media worldwide. His score for The Wilding is a clear example.
Research Contribution: The score maintains an emotional through line tied to the protagonist which is disrupted by aleatoric, synthetic material which over the course of the film eventually becomes the dominant color.
Research Significance: In limited release the film and score lay the groundwork for a new untitled commission in collaboration with Ciaran Foy slated to begin development in 2020.

The soundtrack to GIRL HOUSE was created and produced by tomandandy, a music production company of whom Tom Hajdu is one of two partners. While the company is best known for their work scoring films, their portfolio includes records and art installations as well as music for television commercials and television programs.

    Research Contribution
The contribution lies in the ways that the soundtrack is shown to expose the nuances of the plot, the film, which follows the trials and tribulations of a young college student who moves into a house that streams content to an X-rated website. According to Hajdu, tomandandy ‘tried to develop a suspenseful tone while avoiding cliché. The themes of the film, while obviously contemporary, are also connected to primal human experiences … juxtaposing terror and imbalance with the trappings of modern internet life’. As such the soundtrack engages in a dialogue with the plot, in the sense that it moves between technologically mediated sounds and traditional orchestrations, and in so doing offers a commentary on the implications (and dangers) of technology on contemporary life.

    Research Significance
The soundtrack makes a contribution to a body of work created by tomandandy that includes the Resident Evil franchise, Killing Zoe, Arlington Road, The Rules of Attraction, The Hills Have Eyes, and The Mothman Prophecies. The significance of this body of work is that it has breathed new life into the horror genre. It has also led to collaborations with U2, Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson, David Byrne, William Burroughs, Alicia Keyes, and Wes Borland.
Description: Soundtrack containing 17 tracks. Released for sale on CD and electronic format. Manufactured by Lakeshore Records. Soundtrack to movie Girl House (2014) Consists of 17 tracks.

Description: In the near future, a French submarine finds itself in a crisis situation.

Description: Horror film where a mother and daughter must confront a terrifying monster when they break down on a deserted road.

Description: Young sisters Kate and Lisa and travel to Mexico for a vacation filled with sun, fun and adventure. Lisa needs some extra persuasion when Kate suggests that they go diving in shark-infested waters. Safe in their protective cage, the thrill-seeking siblings come face to face with a group of majestic great whites. Their worst fears soon become a reality when the cage breaks away from their boat, sending them plummeting to the ocean floor with a dwindling supply of oxygen.

ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Research Background: Low are a well-regarded band and songwriting team with whom tomandandy collaborate on the soundtrack to The Mothman Prophecies. In their work together on that film, the two groups produced a song called “Half-Light” which was featured under the closing credits of the film.
Research Contribution: This release was an experiment in the non-traditional release of material well after the original publication of the music as a feature film soundtrack.
Research Significance: The music itself is an exploration of traditional song form in the context of Low’s boundary-pushing development of minimalist and highly-repetitive melodic structures and their linkages to lyrics which were in this case directly derived from the text of the film.

Type of work: motion picture soundtrack
ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Research Background: Leveraging knowledge developed in the release of Port, tomandandy surveyed additional unreleased work and discovered that demand for the soundtrack was strong.
Research Contribution: Film distribution company sold Waking the Dead to another distributor, even though public demand was high, the soundtrack was not released. Waking the Dead is another self-produced and distributed release of thematically-related material. In this case it represents music from their collaboration on the film Waking the Dead, containing material directly from their original soundtrack as well as sketches and material not ultimately included in the feature film release.
Research Significance: This experiment in the independent release of an artist-directed soundtrack album resulted in a deeper connection with tomandandy’s fan base, as well as providing an accessible record of their often-reference seminal work from a particular period in Tom’s development as an emerging film composer.

Research Contribution: Port is an experiment in the self-produced and distributed release of thematically-related material from disparate projects. It was produced and released in 2016 using AWAL as an independent distribution mechanism.
Research Significance: The work on Port has allowed tomandandy to develop knowledge about the market forces surrounding independently produced instrumental music and to broaden the reach of their particular aesthetics into domains beyond commercial film scores for which they were originally intended.

ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: CHARGE captures a pivotal moment in motor sport history: the advent of high-speed, zero-emissions racing. It came on June 12th 2009, the day of the world's first zero-emissions motorcycle grand prix. The race took place on the Isle of Man TT course, the most demanding and deadly circuit on the planet. The movie follows the fortunes of several teams, from swaggering US hotshots MotoCzysz to shoestring Anglo-Indian contenders Team Agni and local heroes ManTTx Racing. The story begins in early 2009 amid the hectic preparations for the first zero emissions grand prix and concludes three years later at the 2012 event. Each year sees a huge leap in performance - proof that racing really does improve the breed and that maniacs on motorcycles can be a force for global good. CHARGE is the dramatic and highly entertaining inside story of an unlikely group of pioneers - obsessed visionaries, ambitious businessmen, new-tech eccentrics, government ministers and hardcore racers - from as far afield as India, the USA, Germany and Britain. It's a human story as well as a technological one: the teams' hopes for personal glory and commercial success ride on their green machines. It's also a controversial story: for the visionaries, it's history. For the petrol-heads, it's blasphemy. What's racing without the sound and fury of internal combustion engines? CHARGE is about the future. It's about change. It's about the dream of a clean, green world. It's about the dream of winning.

Today, every ten thousandth person in the country is a dinosaur, evolved to be human-sized, wearing sophisticated solid-light holographic disguises to maintain the facade, getting stoned off regular cooking herbs like basil, rosemary and tarragon, and living by their own shadow government's laws; any human who stumbles upon them is to be immediately executed. Two dino private investigators, velociraptor Vincent Rubio and triceratops Ernie Watson, are hired by one of Ernie's old girlfriends to find out why her younger brother committed suicide, and discover a dino cult called Voice Of Progress that wants dinokind to come out of the closet and reclaim the planet.

ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: The first film to go inside the MotoGP world since television took a sport watched by a few thousand spectators at race tracks and turned it into prime-time entertainment for over 350 million people worldwide. The MotoGP world championship is the pinnacle of motorcycle sport, a series of sixteen races on five continents contested by twenty-four of the world's top riders. Filmed around the world during the 2001 and 2002 seasons, FASTER asks this question: How do you go faster than the rest, how do you win at this glamorous, dangerous game? The movie could be subtitled: How do you beat Valentino Rossi? The 24 year old Italian, world champion in 2001 and 2002, currently dominates MotoGP, and he's the charismatic center of the film. In addition, FASTER focuses on three other riders: Rossi's bitter rival Max Biaggi; the brilliant but injury-prone Garry McCoy; and the rising teenage star John Hopkins. Tales told by a supporting cast include former world champions including Mick Doohan, Kevin Schwantz, Wayne Rainey, Kenny Roberts and Barry Sheene.

ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Nancy Fischer is an author and a Holistic Coach who has studied under John A. McMullin, founder of Journeys of Wisdom and Holistic Coaching Institute, Inc. She has also studied with David W. Sohn, creator of Body Memory Process. Nancy is currently studying the Sacred Shahaptian Healing Way as a Native American Practitioner and Shahaptian Medicine Woman. She began her spiritual journey in 1998 when sudden flashbacks of the childhood trauma she agreed to experience as part of her sacred contract propelled her into an extraordinary spiritual journey of self-discovery and awakening. In this presentation, Nancy explains that everything in life is a choice. Many of these choices begin before birth by virtue of our sacred contracts which determine what our dramas will be each lifetime. It is how we choose to respond to these adventures that determines what our life experiences will be. We can respond with love and thank the Universe for the opportunity to learn the lessons we chose to learn or we can respond with fear for the horrible things that have been done to us, thus, choosing to cling to the illusion of being a victim.

ERA Research Statement - 2000 character limit: Red Hot + Dance is an album produced by the Red Hot Organization, an organization dedicated to raising money and awareness to fight the onslaught of HIV/AIDS.

Pop star George Michael was instrumental in bringing the project to fruition and the album was notable for featuring three new songs by him. Originally intended for his aborted project Listen Without Prejudice Volume 2, the tracks were instead donated to this LP. Apart from "Too Funky", which was released as a charity single (along with a video featuring several "supermodels"), these tracks are exclusive to this album. George Michael later launched a legal action against record label Sony, citing their lack of support for this project as one of the reasons he no longer wished to work with them.

The album also included tracks by Madonna, Seal, Lisa Stansfield and Sly & the Family Stone, and was released by Epic (Sony) in the UK.

The album cover features artwork by Keith Haring.
