Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences
I am a PhD candidate in the School of Psychology supervised by Associate Professor Amanda LeCouteur and Dr Melissa Oxlad. My research focuses on understanding the interactions that take place in psychology consultations. We hope to produce actionable data that will lead to improvements in the delivery of psychological services.
My PhD uses Conversation Analysis to analyse the interactions that take place in psychology consultations. This research will allow us to develop and evaluate prevalent therapeutic communication theories, which has potential to improve the delivery of psychological services.
