I had been working at Hanoi University of Industry, Vietnam since 2001. During 15 years working there, I was in different positions in Faculty of Foreign Languages including English teachers, Associate Dean and Dean.
In 2015, I started my Phd path in the University of Adelaide. My research area is teacher professional development in Vietnamese higher education. I am now under the supervision of Dr Julia Miller and Professor Faye McCallum.
My expertise is TESOL, Vietnamese HE, teacher professional development, and education policy.
I am a PhD student now. My supervisors are Dr. Julia Miller and Associate Professor Julie Mathews.
My research title: The enablers and barriers to professional development for in-service teachers of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) at a multidisciplinary university in Vietnam.
My current research would like to figure out the current situation of professional development for tertiary English teachers in Vietnam, and the factors that motivate or hinder teachers from engaging in professional development activities.

I was granted a PhD scholarship from Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training in 2014.
I had been teaching English as a foreign language for nearly 15 years in a university in Vietnam before I was granted a scholarship to study Ph.D in Australia. I had taught English for both English major and non-English major students.
