I am currently undertaking a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine (Psychology) under the supervision of Dr Catia Malvaso, Dr Rhiannon Pilkington and Dr Stephanie Byrne. My PhD research focuses on understanding the barriers and facilitators of optimal support for young people living in out-of-home care who also experience Youth Justice system supervision.
In addition to my PhD research, I am currently employed as a Youth Support Worker in a residential out-of-home care environment. In this role, I work directly with care-experienced young people under the guardianship of the Chief Executive; providing care and supporting the development of social and living skills, as well as emotional regulation.
