I am the Regional Tutor for the Foundation Studies Program on the Mount Gambier Campus. I am passionate about working within enabling courses to assist students to realise their full potential.  I work with students to build their confidence in their own abilities and empower them to complete the Foundations Program and see the world of opportunities that awaits.  Part of the foundations program is preparing students for their undergraduate degree and I work closely with other staff to ensure students are well prepared for study at a higher education level.  
I have completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Deakin University in Warrnambool and lived interstate for 3 years while completing my study.  My focus of my degree was in Sociology and Psychology and I enjoyed learning how society functions and understanding human behaviour and hope to continue to do this through some kind of research with the university in the future. 
Before joining UniSA College in 2015, I worked as a Community Support Worker for the Department of Human Services, focussing on Financial Counselling and empowering clients to manage their financial situations, often during a crisis.  I developed a diverse range of skills in this role and I have adapted these skills to work in the education and enabling space and widen participation for students to study a higher education.
