Tania Zebian is a PhD candidate in the School of Education at the University of Adelaide. She is also a passionate French, Psychology and English secondary teacher in the Department for Education in South Australia. Prior to this, she taught overseas in the francophone region of New Caledonia. These diverse range of teaching experiences and inter-cultural encounters, both domestically and internationally, have cultivated Tania’s passion for her PhD project, targeting the impact of culture on Australian language teachers’ motivation to teach and their wellbeing. Ultimately, Tania strives to support language educators’ wellbeing in a cultural context, to promote quality pedagogical practices in Languages Education within Australia.Through her cultural pursuits, Tania is actively involved in the promotion of languages as a member of the South Australian French Languages Teachers of South Australia and the Arabic Language Culture Association of South Australia.
