Syuzanna is a PhD candidate in Wine Business and Sensory Science at the University of Adelaide. Her research focuses the consumer acceptance of Australian Alternative and Gene-edited grape varieties. With a keen interest in consumer behavior, innovation adoption, marketing technology, and Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG), Syuzanna's work delves into the intersection of these fields.Her PhD project is supervised by Assoc. Prof. Armando Corsi, Assoc. Prof. Susan Bastian, and Dr. Rebecca Dolan and is co-funded by The University of Adelaide and Wine Australia.Syuzanna possesses a well-rounded background in the wine industry, encompassing a range of key areas. Her expertise spans from the management of national and international winemaking and viticulture projects to curating wine-guided tours and tastings. Additionally, she has coordinated several complex communication projects, including marketing campaigns and media production. Moreover, Syuzanna has gained valuable hands-on wine production experience through her work in several European wineries.Her educational background encompasses two Master's degrees, which have provided her with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of the industry. The first one is in International Wine Tourism Innovations (WINTOUR) from the University of Bordeaux (France), University Universidade do Porto (Portugal), and Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Spain) with Erasmus Mundus Scholarship. The second Master's degree is in Winemaking and Viticulture from the Armenian National Agrarian University. She has also studied the International Wine Business program at the University of Geisenheim in Germany as an Erasmus Exchange student.She is dedicated to exploring the dynamic intersection of the wine industry, research, and innovation. A central objective of her is to enhance the academic understanding of the industry's future, especially in the face of the rapidly changing environment.
