Syeda Komal Fatima is a PhD student at Adelaide University, based at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI). Her current research focuses on developing nanoparticle-based drug-delivery strategies to improve the treatment of multiple myeloma. She holds an M.Phil. in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) and a Pharm-D, with previous research spanning targeted nanomedicine, transdermal drug delivery and inflammatory diseases. Her broader research interests include nanomedicine, cancer therapeutics and the development of safer and more effective drug-delivery systems.
