I am a pharmacist, dietitian and diabetes educator with a particular interest in diabetes and aged care. My Masters research thesis was titled "The effectiveness of GLP-1 analogues compared to DPP-4 inhibitors for beta cell function and diabetes related complications among adults with type 2 diabetes: a systematic review and meta-analysis". I am involved in evidence-based healthcare and my role involves ensuring that clinicians working in the field have access to the latest, highest quality evidence to assist them in their decision making.
