Dr Siti Nailah Mastura Zainarry is a professional engineer currently specialising in antenna research and development, in particular 3D computational electro-magnetic simulation, systems engineering and design of a variety of advanced antenna technologies. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Microelectronic Engineering from the University of Malaysia Perlis, a Master’s in Electronic Design and Systems Engineering from the University of Science Malaysia, and after migration to Australia in 2016 Doctor of Philosophy in Reconfigurable Antenna Design from the University of Adelaide. She is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
Dr Zainarry is responsible for evaluation, design, implementation and testing of bespoke antenna and pertaining RF systems. She also conducts research into promising novel antenna technologies and design methodologies for a range of reconfigurable antenna technologies targeted at various novel applications. This included single- and multi-element reconfigurable antennas capable of changing the operating frequency response and shaping the radiation pattern, both combined into a single device. Managed research processes, experimental design, manufacture, data analysis, and complex problem solving. Developed strong practical electromagnetic modelling, analysis, design, and implementation skills, in particular for microwave systems and technologies.

- Implemented technical procedures associated with the laboratory section and facilitated the pertaining activities. Trained students on electrical and electronic instruments with a focus on student encouragement and success. Supported curriculum development and devised appropriate lesson plans.
- Planned and implemented an effective training curriculum for teaching the use and application of Computer Simulation Technology (CST) software suite and prepared training materials such as hard-copy module summaries, presentations, and videos.
