Dr Sinead Golley
Research Psychologist, CSIRO Food and Nutrition

My current research interests include understanding the psychological drivers of food choice, in particular the avoidance of wheat and dairy and restrictive diets more generally. I am available to discuss supervision on a range of topics including:
What novel psychological factors underpin the uptake and maintenance of health-promoting behaviours
How and what do people consider when make decisions relating to their health (or their children’s health)
How do implicit cognitive and affective associations impact health outcomes and decisions
What psychological factors are related to decisions around food choice, in particular the avoidance of specific dietary components (such as wheat and dairy) on non-medical grounds.
