As a Reference Librarian based at Mawson Lakes, Simonne supports the teaching, learning and research activities of the University, this involves:

providing expertise in information discovery and resource use in response to complex enquiries
promoting and facilitating the integration of inclusive Open Educational Resources (OER)
supporting curriculum development through information sourcing and managing reading lists
creating interactive mixed media resources to develop information and digital literacy in students
liaising with academic staff, researchers and professional units to collaborate on common goal projects

Simonne is passionate about supporting the regions and improving education and resources with equitable access to high quality, diverse information for remote students and staff.
