My PhD examines intergenerational equity in Australia’s tax system and is due for completion in October 2027. I have also undertaken considerable research in other areas of taxation law, including the ATO’s tax debt enforcement powers and the general anti-avoidance provisions, particularly Part IVA.

Outside taxation law, I have researched supported decision-making as part of my work with the South Australian Law Reform Institute (SALRI). This has included analysing South Australia’s enduring powers of attorney, advance care directives and guardianship laws, as well as considering whether South Australia should introduce Microboards.
