My research focuses on investigating current and novel treatments for ABL1/2 driven B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (B-ALL). Despite advances in targeted therapies for B-ALL, including tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), allosteric inhibitors, and immunotherapy, survival rates in adult patients remain unfavourable, with a high risk of disease relapse. My project will investigate whether ELVN-001, a novel TKI in clinical development for CML, can be repurposed to treat Ph+ B-ALL. Additionally, this project will investigate whether dietary supplementation could improve the efficacy of immunotherapy with blinatumomab.
