I am a seasoned regenerative design, architecture, and construction expert with over 25 years of distinguished experience in academic leadership, teaching, and architectural design. Since obtaining my PhD in Architecture in 2009, I have developed a comprehensive background in design, architecture, and construction education technology, holding prominent academic positions across three continents, including at the University of South Australia and the University of Adelaide.
In my current capacity as an online program facilitator at STEM-UniSA Online, I focus on the strategic development and delivery of innovative, digitally enriched programs and courses in construction management, as well as programs that address information technology and data analytics. My role is not only to facilitate learning but also to lead initiatives that integrate cutting-edge educational practices.
My professional journey is characterised by a commitment to extensive practice and industry-based research in regenerative architecture and environmental psychology. I have been instrumental in delivering nationally significant and award-winning projects in the medical and higher education sectors, serving as an Architect, Senior Designer, and Manager at a leading architectural firm from 2003 to 2011.
My research is dedicated to advancing the principles of higher education strategies, especially within the online learning environment. Also, My discipline research focuses on regenerative design in the context of healthcare and higher education environments. I take pride in my numerous highly cited publications in top-tier journals within this discipline, which contribute to the ongoing discourse and development of sustainable architectural practices.
