I am a Master of Philosophy student from Singapore, currently based at the South Australian immunoGENomics Cancer Institute (SAiGENCI), Adelaide University. My research focuses on cancer biology and inflammation at the Tumour Inflammation and Immunotherapy program. Prior to commencing my postgraduate studies, I accumulated over six years of experience in Singapore across both clinical diagnostics and scientific research. I worked as a Research Officer at A*STAR, contributing to translational biomedical research projects involving antisense oligonucleotides and cancer signalling pathways. Prior to that, I was involved in haematological diagnostics as a Medical Laboratory Technologist. I currently hold a first class honours degree in Biology and have a strong foundation in molecular techniques, preclinical research, and diagnostic testing. My goal is to continue advancing in the academic research field, with clinical and translational relevance in cancer and immunology.
