Shahid Ali Khan is a PhD student in Geotechnical Engineering at Adelaide University. His research work primarily focuses on advancements in geotechnical engineering through pioneering work in static and cyclic liquefaction, soil stabilisation via biocementation, under the constitutive framework . He brings expertise in specialised laboratory testing, advanced instrumentation, constitutive modelling, and computational geotechnics.
He is currently doing his PhD in Civil Engineering from the Adelaide University (2024-2027). The title of his PhD dissertation is - “Constitutive behaviour of bio-treated soils subjected to monotonic and cyclic loading”.
- Biostabilisation (EICP) of soils
- Liquefaction behaviour of sand and sandy (with fines) soils
- Equivalent state theory (EST) for sandy soils and Critical state soil mechanics
- Constitutive modelling of granular materials
