I have a background in medicine and public health. My research over the past 18 years has focused on applied and translational research, community engagement, and equity and inclusion, especially for population groups who are underserved in practice and underrepresented in research. I have applied these focus areas across a range of research fields, including primary health care, public health policy, community-based initiatives and models of care, and, more recently, in palliative care and aged care. I have extensive experience in qualitative research and program evaluation, and my research is underpinned by strong industry and consumer engagement.  I am involved in a number of research projects focusing on ageing and aged care, including pharmacist services, palliative care, and unpaid carers' recognition and support in Australia.
