Samuel Madsen

I am currently pursuing a Masters in philosophy. The topic of my thesis falls under the purview of computational psychiatry, with a particular focus on the active inference framework and how it might be applied in explanations of trauma-related disorders. Complex post-traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, attachment theory and depersonalisation/derealisation form the main focus. More broadly, my interests lie in the philosophy of cognitive science and the elaboration of a properly computational-mechanistic psychology.
