Samir's primary research interest revolves around organisational learning and responses during accidents and disasters. Anchoring his ideas to systems thinking, he focuses on areas that lie at the cusp of strategy, OB, and HR. His secondary interests lie in the areas of diversity and organisational justice. Samir has published in journals such as Human Relations, Journal of Business Ethics, Human Resource Management, and Journal of Business Research. His undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience includes teaching courses on strategic management, industry-based consulting projects, and strategy-based Capstone units. He has also taught courses on Knowledge Management, Change Management, Leadership, Strategic HRM, and Organizational Behaviour. Before becoming an academic, Samir was a Major in the Indian army.
