Dr Singh completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2016. She works in private practice and is also a lecturer within the Adelaide Dental School. As part of her academic role, she co-ordinates the second-year clinical program in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery Program. 

As an early career academic and researcher, she is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Health and Medical Sciences (Hons), with a special interest in Neurodiversity in the Health Professions. As part of her Honours project, she is leading a national study to better understand and support the needs of this population. 

In the wider profession, she currently serves as one of 12 state councillors for the South Australian branch of the Australian Dental Association (ADA). She is also the state representative on the Federal Recent Graduates Advisory Panel. She is the South Australian Chair of the ADA Recent Graduates Committee and is a member of the Communications, and Environment/Sustainability Committees. Her work has been recognised by the prestigious International Pierre Fauchard Academy and the International College of Dentists, earning her Fellowships from both. Dr Singh's involvement in the wider profession and understanding of the dental landscape in Australia informs her research.

Dr Singh has experience in talent acquisition and managing casual staff, teaching within the School of Dentistry, and demonstrating leadership in the profession. As part of her various roles, she has been involved in organising and leading workshops, lecturing and public speaking, and mentoring students and other dental professionals.

Dr Singh is the coordinator of second year clinic in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery Program and is involved in teaching across the third, fourth and fifth years of the course. In the past, she has been involved with teaching the Adult Scope of the Bachelor of Oral Health Program. Her extensive clinical experience helps to inform her teaching and enrich the student learning experience.
