Dose limiting toxicities of anti-cancer drugs associated with their systemic distribution after administration are a major limitation in treating many cancers including myeloma. During my PhD candidature, I am developing and investigating novel approaches, including state-of-the-art nanoparticle system and novel vascular-modulating agents to selectively increase the delivery of anti-myeloma drugs to the site of tumour to reduce their side-effects.
