Dr Sally Lewis is an Associate Professor of Media and Communication in the School of Communication, Media and Journalism. A former Director of Communication and Director of Marketing, Sally's research draws on her industry background and disciplinary expertise. Sally has been nationally recognised for teaching research in interdisciplinary student learning and has received a citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning. She is a HE Advance Senior Fellow (SFHEA) in recognition of attainment against the UK Professional Standards Framework for teaching and learning support in higher education.

Associate Professor Sally Lewis has a track record in research-led approaches to teaching and learning that have informed curriculum development. Sally's research draws on her industry background (work-integrated learning) and disciplinary expertise (communication and media). Sally is a member of the Adelaide University Centre for Research in Educational and Social Inclusion and has received recognition for innovation in research.

Associate Professor Sally Lewis was the Professorial Lead for Teaching and Learning at UniSA Creative and has been a Program Director for multiple UniSA degrees. Sally is a Senior Fellow of HE Advance and has received recognition for leadership of interdisciplinary curriculum development that fosters the work readiness of students.
