I joined Professor Chunxia Zhao's lab as an Honours student, where I investigated lipid nanoparticle (LNP)-mediated mRNA delivery for cancer immunotherapy under supervision of Chunxia Zhao and Richard Chen. After graduating from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honours), I commenced my PhD in Dr Qi Zhang's lab under supervision of Qi Zhang, Jia Pei Lim and Rudrarup Bhattacharjee. My research combines stem cell biology, epigenetics, and disease modelling to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental disorders. I currently use human iPSC-derived models to study the role of GLP (EHMT1) in neural and cardiac development, with the goal of identifying therapeutic opportunities for Kleefstra Syndrome.
