Rosanna has been nominated for the following awards:
2025: Ian Davey Research Thesis Prize, nominated by the Dean of Research.
As one of just seven nominations reviewed by the selection panel, Rosanna's thesis has been recognised for its outstanding research and scholarly contribution. Her thesis ("Teaching and learning foreign language conversation in the virtual classroom: Interactional and pedagogical considerations") will be considered as an exemplar PhD and will be flagged as such on the University’s Research Outputs Repository.

Rosanna Kelly lectures in Italian language and culture at Adelaide University. She is enthusiastic about the maintenance and promotion of Italian and other languages studied in schools and at university and has taught students in all sectors - primary, secondary, and tertiary. Her interests include teaching Italian language and culture to students at beginners’ level in both face-to-face and synchronous online classes, and bilingual education.
