Assoc Prof Rohit Joshi MBBS MD FRACP FACP FRCP

A/Prof Rohit Joshi is a Medical Oncology Consultant working at private and public hospitals across Adelaide. He works with the GenesisCare group at Calvary Central Districts Hospital and St Andrew's Hospital. His public Staff Specialist appointment is at the Lyell McEwin Hospital.

He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate training at the Christian Medical College in India, after which he trained in Medical Oncology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. He also gained European Certification in Medical Oncology in 2012.

Rohit is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) and was certified by the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO).

He treats all solid cancer types with major interests in Lung and Breast cancers

Rohit is the Director for Cancer Research SA (CRSA) at St Andrew's. He was the former Director of Research at the Lyell McEwin Hospital and Adelaide Oncology & Haematology. The research includes breast, lung, colorectal, melanoma, head and neck, genitourinary cancers and more; including Phase I (first-in-human), Phase II and Phase III studies. He was the Chairperson of the Adelaide Clinical Trials and Education Consortium (ACTEC), which is supported by Cancer Council SA.

He is actively involved in the teaching and supervision of under-graduate and post-graduate students as an Associate Professor at the University of Adelaide and University of South Australia.
