Associate Professor Raymond Broomhill
Adjunct
School of Social Sciences
Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics
After 30 years employment as an academic teacher and researcher I now hold the honorary position of Adjunct Associate Professor within the School of Social Sciences at the University of Adelaide. My on-going research interests cover a range of topics in the areas of political economy, gender and labour studies, and public policy issues. They include specific interests in researching:
• the impact of neoliberal globalism on the role of the Australian state at federal and local levels
• the impact of global and national restructuring on households, gender relations and the Australian ‘male breadwinner’ model
• feminist political economy critiques of Australian public policy issues
• the application of a ‘regulation’ approach to Australian political economic issues
