Rachel Hosking’s research focuses on improving early diagnosis and care for adolescents with endometriosis. Through a mixed-methods PhD project, she investigates the diagnostic accuracy and impact of non-invasive imaging technologies, in collaboration with IMAGENDO, on quality of life, school attendance, and parental experiences. Her work includes a systematic review, nationwide survey, qualitative interviews, and co-design workshops with young people. Using implementation science frameworks like RE-AIM, Rachel aims to drive systemic change in women’s health by addressing diagnostic delays, stigma, and access to care. Her research ultimately strives to empower adolescents through education, early intervention, and better clinical pathways for endometriosis care.
Rachel Hosking has received several competitive grants and scholarships in recognition of her research into adolescent endometriosis.
