I am a PhD candidate under the supervision of A/Prof Lisa Ebert in the Translational Oncology Laboratory at the Centre for Cancer Biology. My research focuses on the regulation of CD15s - a T cell homing ligand - and E-selectin - its corresponding receptor expressed on the blood vessel wall - to identify biological targets for increased delivery of cytotoxic T cells to the tumour. With this knowledge, we aim to improve the response of cancer patients to immunotherapy, particularly those with melanoma or glioblastoma.
