Priscila Lydia Petrelli is a geologist and PhD researcher at Adelaide University. Her research focuses on the geochemical processes controlling aluminium uptake and release in acidic sulfate environments, particularly its interactions with secondary iron minerals such as schwertmannite.
 
She has a professional background in environmental consulting, specialising in contaminated land investigation and assessment. Her experience includes soil, groundwater and soil vapor investigations, conceptual site model development, 3D modelling and human health risk assessments of sites impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated organic compounds, metals and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
 
Priscila holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and two postgraduate qualifications in management of contaminated land and remediation.

Focus on the geochemical processes controlling aluminium uptake and release in acidic sulfate environments, particularly its interactions with secondary iron minerals such as schwertmannite.
