Dr Prince Antwi-Afari is a Lecturer in Construction Management at the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the University of Adelaide. Prince is an astute researcher and academic with nonpareil research and professional experience in construction engineering and management.

Prince is enthused about interdisciplinary, innovation and making an impact. Therefore, his research interest coalesces the rudiments of the construction industry with innovation, management, and sustainable development to explore pertinent issues in construction and demolition waste management, smart and sustainable infrastructure and cities, circular economy in construction, building life cycle assessment, smart/digital construction and building services among others.

He has immense experience in teaching and supervising students from diverse multicultural and linguistic backgrounds. His vision is to create an environment whereby students can be imparted with the requisite knowledge to be agents of change in their field of discipline. He is motivated by doing research which also has applicable effects on society and the environment and improving the existing business models to be cost-effective.

Prince has published several peer-reviewed papers in internationally reputable journals and has collaborated with several academic and industry professionals across Hong Kong, China, Australia, the UK, Canada, Ghana, the USA, Nigeria, the UAE, and other parts of the world.
