Mr Peter Rossini

Peter's research focuses on housing markets and property implications, residential property indexing and market performance, automated valuation methods, mass appraisal, urban renewal evaluation, and water markets. Recent research has focused on inter-generational wealth flows and the impact on housing the aged and first home buyer affordability. Peter holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the South Australian Institute of Technology (SAIT - now UniSA), and a Graduate Diploma in Economic Statistics from the University of New England.
Peter teaches at undergraduate level, and has a prodigious research record, having published a range of refereed journal articles, and has presented his research extensively at conferences nationally and internationally. He has developed and produced commercial software for the Australian Real Estate Industry and presented seminars to international Real Estate Organisations.
Peter is a member of the Pacific Rim Real Estate Society (PRRES) and has twice been awarded the PRRES achievement award once in 2007 and again in 2019. In 2013 Mr Rossini received the PRPRJ Best Paper Award, and the PRRES Best Refereed Paper Award. In 2012 he received the Outstanding Paper Award from the Property Management Journal, Best Conference Paper at the Australasian Housing Researchers’ Conference, and Best Housing Researcher Paper at the PRRES conference. He has received Staff Excellence Awards from the UniSA Business School in 2012 and 2013, has been a UniSA Supported Teacher in 2006, 2007, and 2011, and a Supported Researcher in 2005, 2006, and 2007. In 2009 he received a Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning.
