My research sits at the intersection of urban planning, water management, and climate change resilience. Specifically, my PhD research explores how Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) can be harnessed as a strategy for climate change resilience through the analysis of planning instruments and governance.Prior to commencing my PhD, I worked in the international development sector as a Technical Advisor, providing advisory support in spatial and land use planning, climate change adaptation, and development policy. I worked closely with national and local governments, civil society organisations (CSOs), technical agencies, and public institutions to support planning processes and strengthen institutional capacity.
