I’m a psychologist who has worked in both the private and public sectors including in community mental health, correctional services, private practice and as a senior manager and corporate trainer. In addition, I have developed and facilitated several forensic programs, including the development of a sexual offender program for prisoners with cognitive deficits. In private practice, I specialise in treating trauma (including PTSD), grief, addictions, OCD, depression and anxiety. My PhD is focusing on the interaction between palliative care and the criminal justice system. Specifically understanding the attitudes of people involved in the care of dying prisoners from a health and correctional perspective. I am interested in understanding how the two systems approach end-of-life. My supervisors are Professor Anna Chur-Hansen and Professor Gregory Crawford.
