Some say that computers are bicycles for the mind. They allow humans to reach unprecedented levels of advance and prosperity. While it is true, a computer by itself wouldn’t be more than a bucket of bolts and silicon without the software that brings it life.My research, as a member of Centre for Research on Engineering Software Technology, focuses on building and enabling people to build software systems that are correct, efficient, and secure. My current focus is on applying Blockchain and its related technology to provide new software solutions to real-world problems. My research interests lie at the intersection between Software Engineering, Cryptography & Blockchain, Internet of Things, and Machine Intelligence. Software Engineering provides a foundation for building correct and efficient software systems on a large scale. Cryptography and Blockchain form the basis for designing and developing secured software systems. Machine Intelligence, including both classical algorithms and AI-based techniques, provides the ability to automate hard problems. Finally, Internet of Things allows software systems to interface with the physical world. Together, they form the foundation for building correct, efficient, and secured software systems.

My research, as a member of Centre for Research on Engineering Software Technology, focuses on building and enabling people to build software systems that are correct, efficient, and secure. My current focus is on applying Blockchain and its related technology to provide new software solutions to real-world problems.
