I am a PhD candidate within the Department of Earth Sciences studying the vertebrate palaeontology of the Naracoorte region during the middle Pleistocene. I am under the primary supervision of Dr Liz Reed and the secondary supervision of Jeremy Austin and Gilbert Price. My PhD research will focus strongly on the responses animals had to climatic changes prior to human arrival to the Australian continent. This research will improve the understanding of the late Pleistocene faunal extinction, especially the role of climate change.
