I am a Public Health Researcher, with Bachelors and masters degree in midwifery. I am currently undertaking a PhD in Medicine under the supervision of Dr. Zohra Lassi, Dr. Jodie Avery, and Dr. Mumtaz Begum. The focus of my research is on sexual health in women from migrant and refugee backgrounds.
I have a strong academic track record in women’s health and extensive expertise in clinical and translational research in the field of maternal and reproductive health. I have also published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and one book .
I am a member of Healthy Development Adelaide (HDA), Health in Preconception, Pregnancy, and Postpartum (HiPP), Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA), The International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health (ISSWSH), and Reproductive Health Australia.
