In 2020, Neelu began leading meditation sessions for staff and students at UniSA and the wider community with the goal of promoting mental health within the community. She also produces and presents a spiritual program on 5EBi, Adelaide's multicultural radio station, further integrating her professional skills with her personal interests in spirituality.

Neelu's dedication to community service is demonstrated through her active support of Adelaide’s homeless population, collaborating with the Salvation Army since 2017 to deliver produce weekly.
