I am an occupational epidemiologist with a Bachelor’s in Occupational Health and Safety and a Master’s in Epidemiology, currently pursuing a PhD in Medical Science (Occupational Epidemiology) at the University of Adelaide. My research focuses on musculoskeletal health, particularly neck and back pain, using advanced epidemiological and biostatistical methods to understand prevalence, risk factors, and impacts in Australian working populations.
I bring together a strong background in work health and safety with expertise in quantitative research, including structural equation modeling, large-scale survey analysis, and longitudinal study design. I am also passionate about social and psychological determinants of health; my master’s research examined psychosocial determinants of health in marginalized populations. Drawing on experience as a researcher, educator, and WHS consultant across healthcare and industrial settings, I aim to generate practical evidence that informs prevention, workplace interventions, and policy to improve workers’ health.
