Dr Nadia Corsini is a Senior Research Fellow in the Rosemary Bryant AO Research Centre. Nadia is an experienced behavioural scientist who has worked extensively with industry, government and non-government organisations on research and evaluation projects focussed on supporting people recovering from illness. Nadia is a highly effective collaborator who is able to apply her diverse behavioural research skills to solve challenges facing the health system. She is passionate about consumer engagement and creating a collaborative space for creative ideas and effective partnerships to develop.
The Rosemary Bryant AO Research Centre is a partnership between the University of South Australia and the Rosemary Bryant Foundation, which aims to strengthen the nursing & midwifery workforce across the health system through the development of evidence-based healthcare. The RBRC is developing a comprehensive research program focused on advancing the discipline of nursing/midwifery and patient care related to population and public health, workforce reform, safety and quality, clinical practice, patient outcomes, and integration into education. Its objective is to enhance innovative partnerships for healthcare research, to inform strategies for: 1) Extending the capacity and capabilities of nurses and midwives to build a resilient, sustainable and collaborative workforce, 2) health system planning and resourcing, 3) clinical care outcomes, and 4) translation of evidence into practice.
Dr Corsini is available to supervise honours, masters and PhD students.

Quality of life in patients with Neuroendocrine Tumours (NETs) undergoing Peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT)

This multisite international project is supported by the Commonwealth Neuroendocrine Tumour Collaborative (CommNETs) - Quality of Life Working Group. We are examining patient-reported data collected over the course of PRRT induction at several institutions in Australia and Canada to understand how the treatment affects patients' symptoms and functioning. PRRT is a radioisotope therapy that is used to treat symptoms and slow disease progress. CIs: Dr Gabrielle Cehic (Senior Nuclear Medicine Physician, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital), Dr Grace Kong (Senior Nuclear Medicine Physician, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre) and others from the CommNETs Quality of Life Working Group.

Current student projects
