Dr Monique Wilson is a Postdoctural Research Associate with the Persistent Pain Research Group in the School of Allied Health and Human Performance, with more than eight years of experience as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist. She recently completed her PhD at Adelaide University, which sought to improve the clinical implementation of pain science education through the development and evaluation of innovative strategies and resources for real-world clinical practice and community settings. Her current research builds on this work and includes the development and implementation of peer-led strategies for delivering pain science education. She also has extensive experience in co-design methodology, working collaboratively with patients and clinicians to ensure end-user perspectives and needs are meaningfully integrated throughout the research process.
