Dr. Lee has been a teaching academic in Clinical Health Sciences within the Biosciences team since 2010. She completed her PhD at the University of Adelaide, where she researched the importance of dietary vitamin D and calcium on bone structure and strength in both young and osteoporotic populations. She then completed a postdoctoral research position, investigating the effects of vitamin D supplementation in cancer-affected populations.
Dr. Lee's teaching focus is on first-year allied health courses, including Physiology Essentials and Human Physiology, as well as nursing courses at all levels, such as Human Body 2, Scientific Basis of Clinical Science, and Evidence-Based Nursing Practice. She also teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate Human Neuroscience courses. Additionally, Dr. Lee has served as the course coordinator for several of the courses mentioned above.
