I am a senior lecturer working for UniSA Education Futures. I coordinate and teach a number of courses in Foundation, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate programs, and supervise honour and PhD students in English language and English medium education. I have worked for several higher education and research institutions in Vietnam, the United States, Singapore and Australia.
A teaching-focused academic dedicated to education equity, social just and student excellence, I am honoured to receive several awards: Teacher of the Year - Students Nominated (2024), Australian Award for University Teaching (AAUT 2023), Senior Fellow Higher Education Advance (SFHEA 2023), UniSA Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning (2022), UniSA Education Futures Staff Excellence Award (2022), and UniSA Student Engagement and Equity (Academic) Staff Recognition Award (2017).
My current research interest focuses on English as additional language or dialect (EALD), English medium education (EME) and content and language integrated learning (CLIL). I am a lead investigator and investigator of a number of national and international research projects in English language teaching and English medium education.
