Mikaela Doig is a Research Associate within the Allied Health and Human Performance academic unit at the University of South Australia. Her research is dedicated to improving outcomes and quality of life for people with cancer, with a particular focus on children and young people.
Mikaela’s expertise spans patient-reported outcomes, digital health, paediatric oncology, proton therapy, and the use of artificial intelligence to enhance cancer diagnosis and treatment. As a clinically practicing Radiation Therapist, she is passionate about translating innovative research into practice to advance personalised care.
She is actively involved in supervising undergraduate research students and is currently in the final stages of completing her PhD.
Mikaela is also affiliated with SAHMRI, Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Australian Bragg Centre for Proton Therapy and Research, and Royal Adelaide Hospital.
