Michelle is a PhD candidate in the Breast Cancer Research Unit lead by Andreas Evdokiou at the Basil Hetzel Institute of Translational Health Research. Her project involves researching a mechanism of anthracycline chemotherapy-induced cardiotoxicity, and investigating potential therapeutics to limit or eliminate heart cell death via this mechanism.
