I am a PhD candidate in the Neuroimmunopharmacology group at the University of Adelaide, with a keen interest in the bidirectional relationship between psychological states and immune responses.
My research focuses on how psychological factors influence the immune response to injury or infection, and conversely, how immune faction, affects brain function and behaviour. Currently, I am working on advancing our understanding of the intricate interplay between the immune and nervous systems. My goal is to harness this knowledge for the development of a wearable warning system for the earliest detection possible of exposure to biological threats.
