An invertebrate ecologist, Michael Nash completed his PhD in 2008 studying the Integrated Pest Management of slugs. Michael’s farming background combined with his ecological skills results in the delivery of practical research. Michael has worked on numerous projects for the Australian grains industry delivering sustainable pest control. Consulting to companies, Michael’s aim is to improve snail and slug control for agriculture.Michael enjoys identifying the unique, unseen invertebrates, having a special interest in characterising their interactions within grassland ecosystems. Michael is a strong advocate for conservation of native species in productive landscapes.
