Miss Mengke Han is a PhD student from the Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing (IPAS), School of Physical Sciences, the University of Adelaide. She is also member of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Nanoscale BioPhotonics (CNBP).
Mengke obtained her Master’s degree in physics from the University of Adelaide, Australia in 2017 and subsequently pursued her PhD. From 2011-2015 she was an undergraduate in biological science at East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai, China. She was awarded the Adelaide Graduate Research Scholarship (AGRS) in 2018 and the Tanya Monro Presentation Award (people’s choice) in 2017. Mengke has published one refereed journal paper and 6 conference proceedings. Mengke’s research focuses on the development of voltage-sensitive nanoparticles for real-time monitor of brain activity.
