Dr. Meghashyam Bhat is a Public health dentist and oral epidemiologist with special interest in oral epidemiology, preventive dentistry and public health.
Currently, Dr. Bhat is Visiting Research Fellow with Adelaide Dental School/ARCPOH and is working on the factors affecting oral health in marginalized populations in India. Dr. Bhat has looked at the risk indicators associated with periodontal disease and tooth loss. Dr. Bhat has a keen interest on oral health issues of under-served populations in the Indian subcontinent, Asia and Oceania and is willing to collaborate and discuss potential supervisory activities for Honors/Masters and PhD.
